The Current Shack

The ham shack has had several different looks and locations over the years. Currently it is back in its original location of a corner of the basement. This location has the advantage of remaining cool on those hot summer nights. Of course this also mean that it remains cold on those cold winter nights.

The Current Radios

  • HF - Currently I am using an ICOM IC-746 Pro and an  ICOM IC-718 with the optional FL52A CW filter and the optional DSP board installed.
  • VHF/UHF - I am using a Kenwood TM-721 dual band mobile rig as my 2m/70cm radio.
  •  IRLP - The IRLP Link uses an Alinco DR-135T
  • ATV - I am using the PC Electronics TC70-20, 70cm transceiver for ATV.
