PROFESSION

 I am an electronic engineer by training and more recently have been involved in software development. I started out as a hardware engineer and gradually switched over to software engineering in the mid 80's. I am currently employed as Director of Software Engineering, for Invision Software. A Long Island based company that specializes in development in the hand held and wireless space. We are involved in all aspects of the software development process. We handle everything from low level driver up to full applications. I have been working here since August of 2000. 

Some of my past jobs include the following

• Digital Systems Manager for Otari. Otari is a professional audio company that manufactures high end mixing console, digital recorders and analog tape systems. 
• Senior Software Engineer for Satellite Transmission Systems division of L3 communications. STS is a manufacturer of satellite ground stations.  
• Senior Software Engineer for Hazeltine Corporation. Hazeltine Corporation is now a division of BAE systems. Hazeltine is a designer and manufacture of various military systems that include IFF, electronic and Acoustic countermeasures, and Display Systems.
• Chief Engineer for WLIM Radio. WLIM is a 10KW AM Stereo radio station located here on Long Island.
